Lyrics

A bright morning sun brings the promising new day Phobos and Deimos rise, two hounds ready to play They trek through the forest with their master, Mars, at their side Checking for tracks and scents, eager to bring in a new hide But out of the brush, a cougar leaps, claws aimed where Mars rests Phobos jumps to knock him away, only to find claws pierce his chest As Phobos lies in the grass, bleeding out in a sun's ray His master and brother weep for the faithful death this day
