Lyrics

Welcome to this guided meditation on gratitude (Gratitude) You ever feel overwhelmed an overworked? There's too much on your plate Well I feel this way a lot But instead of trying to work more and get everything done, I try to shift my perspective I try to look at life with a positive spirit You can start feeling more grateful for the good things in life and it will change everything So let's begin Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and sеttle in to your seat Imagine that you'rе sitting on a beach in Tahiti, watching the sunset over the ocean The sand is warm under your feet and there is a gentle breeze blowing Think about all of the things that make you happy Friends, family members, food, music, nature Whatever makes you smile when you think about them, let those thoughts wash over you like waves on the beach Just thinking about these images may bring a ray of sunshine into your heart You are here, you are alive, you are breathing and you are able to take in the world around you It's easy to take this for granted, but I want to encourage you to pause for a moment and see the good in your life What are you grateful for? Maybe it's the fact that you have a roof over your head Or maybe it's the fact that you have all of your fingers and toes and that you have time to be here with me right now, to sit in this moment and listen to my voice Just notice what comes up for you and when it does, just say thank you You might not even know why you're grateful until later on That's okay, just hold each thought in your mind as long as it lasts, and then let it go You can always come back to those thoughts later if they reappear again down the road Now, I want us both to take a few more deep breaths together Thank you, thank you, thank you Thank you
