[Interlude, Mom] Since college, I think it's been fun to see what you've done with your film degree But then how you've morphed that into not just film Not just photography That you've, you know taken your music and your passion for music And figured out a way to kind of blend all these genres together And figure out how just to find your creative outlet So that's fun for us to see and watch you do Because we know that makes you happy Life is about experiences So go out and do as many as you can And those experiences are not always going to be good Some of it's just putting yourself out there and challenging yourself But some experiences are going to be rough They don't feel good at the time But they are what shapes you into the person that you're meant to be Just looking at gratitude Getting up in the morning And thinking of three or five things that you're just eternally grateful for Even if it's the same thing every morning A warm shower A good night's sleep Whatever it is Dad told you a long time ago That the most important decision you're going to make is who you choose to spend your life with And that is certainly the person you're going to marry But also the people you choose to surround yourself with Make sure they're feeding you and that they're not toxic Man that wears on you a lot If you don't surround yourself with good people that you want to spend your time with My hope for you is that you will always be happy And when I say happy, I don't mean happy in the moment I mean you'll find real joy and happiness in life Happiness will ebb and flow because of circumstances But real joy and happiness comes from looking beyond your current circumstances And realizing that you just really have a lot to be grateful for
