Lyrics

[Verse 1] The devil and the deep blue sea ran dry The first time I saw your face, I thought I'd die I found a treasure deep in you Loving you forever's all I want to do [Chorus] I, I never wanna lose it Never wanna lose it, yeah I never wanna lose it, yeah I never wanna lose The treasure in you [Verse 2] From a womb of love I saw you fly Straight into my arms, we both broke down and cried Two lives, two faces intertwined Something so down-to-earth and so divine Is mine, and I [Chorus] I never wanna lose it I never wanna lose it, yes I never wanna lose it, yes I never wanna lose The treasure in you [Bridge] And though, one day, baby, I'll have to set you free I'll still have all the love you left deep inside of me Oh, and I I never want Never wanna lose [Verse 3] I could search forever, never find Treasure to compare with what's already mine And I [Chorus] I never wanna lose it I never wanna lose it, yes I never wanna lose it now, ah I never want I never wanna lose I never wanna lose it I never wanna lose it, ooh I never wanna lose you, hey, oh, no I never want I never wanna lose Never wanna lose Never wanna lose Never wanna lose Never wanna lose Ooh, ooh I don't ever wanna lose you [Spoken Outro: Michael Roe] Thank you. All right. [Crowd shouts requests] [David Leonhardt] What do you want to hear? We can't decide. [Crowd shouts requests] [Roe] On my left, Mr. Mark Harmon. To the right, David Leonhardt. These guys had a really swinging group of their own for awhile, called The Strawmen. And on the new album--by the way, we do have a new album, it's out. Do you know what the name of it is? We won't mention that. But we did record a couple of songs from their group, "Phony Eyes" and "Deep End." And this is one we were going to put on the album and didn't. Maybe we'll record it someday, but it's something we like a lot, and it's called "Hard to Say."
