Lyrics
[DIONYSOS, spoken] Pluto! [PLUTO, spoken] That's my name! [DIONYSOS, spoken] Pluto, oh god of the underworld, uncle on my father's side, I am Dionysos [PLUTO, spoken] Dionysos, Zeus's boy! Your mother was Semele, the daughter of Cadmus [DIONYSOS, spoken] Aw, you know the entire family! [PLUTO, spoken] So, what brings you to Hades? [DIONYSOS, spoken] I'd like to meet George Bernard Shaw [PLUTO, spoken] What a coincidence, he's right inside! He's banqueting with me. All the playwrights are here tonight: Chekov, Ibsen, Shakespeare... [DIONYSOS, spoken] (gasp) Shakespeare? What is he like? [PLUTO, spoken] Not at all what you'd expect. Uh...shorter [DIONYSOS, spoken] Hm. And Ibsen? [PLUTO, spoken] There's a strange one. You either love him, or you hate him. But, come on in, join us. See for yourself! [DIONYSOS, spoken] While we're eating, the Dionysians have something to tell all of you out there. This is called the parabasis of the play. I know, it's all Greek to me too
