Lyrics

How high the moon above the temple How high the sun above the stone So deep the world that brings us closer The tribe will heal as one The walls you build can't stand forever Your violent crime will bring you down We will return when you have fallen And we will take what's ours The right to celebrate The right to join our brothers The right to touch the stone The right is ours And once again the tribe will gather To watch the sun on solstice dawn The festival [?] the laughter The stone will heal once more The right to celebrate The right to join our sisters The right to touch the stone The right to join our brothers The right to celebrate The right to join our sisters The right to touch the stone The right is ours [Women] Somebody help me! Help me! Help me! Aaah! You see what they're doing to us! [Journalist] What we've witnessed in the last half an hour here has been surely some of the most brutal action by police forces in Britain for a long time. Whatever the cause is, the end product seems to be just hitting out wildly by the police, with babies in those trucks and in those buses, and young women with those babies in their arms were hit as well. At one stage, one of the camera men from Fleet Street was arrested for being on this side, we got pushed and shoved to one side, but the worst of it all was that the people in those coaches who were trying to escape from the police were just grabbed, their windows were smashed, and they themselves were beaten - sometimes senselessly - on the floor And this is not over yet; they intend to carry on with their campaign around here for another day yet, but whether they'll survive after what's happened within the hands of the police today, we'll have to see What the ITN camera crew, and myself, the reporter, have seen in the last 30 minutes on this field has been some of the most brutal police treatment of people that I've witnessed in my entire career as a journalist. There must be an enquiry, I don't know what the results will be of it, but at this stage the number of people who've been hit by policemen, who've been clubbed whilst holding babies in their arms, and coaches around this field are still to be counted. What the end result will be, we don't know, but there must surely be an enquiry after what's happened here today [Women] Somebody help me! Help me! Help me! Aaah! You see what they're doing to us! The right to celebrate The right to join our sisters The right to touch the stone The right to join our brothers The right to celebrate The right to join our sisters The right to touch the stone The right is ours
