Dot and Bug in the Street

Lyrics
[Monologue] Dot and her brother Bug strolled through the busy streets of Harmelodia. They inched their way toward the Harmelodian concert hall, where every Saturday afternoon they had to attend music lessons (There's a place in the heart of Harmelodia It's greener than the greenest place you've been) Dot shuddered as she imagined standing before the fussy concert master, while he lectured ponderously on melody, and the correct placement of melody (Okay, that was poor. I think another time over would be proper. One, two...) The June-July sun painted a shimmering gold light across the sidewalks, and brightened the busy thoroughfares, filled with minstrels and performers of all varieties (In the green, green soap of the ocean In the green, green soap of the sea In the green, green soap of the ocean...) (...and a big red nose Nobody really knows you My Tuesday girl Tuesday girl...) At the gates of the Harmelodia Park and Gardenarium, they saw a young skiffle band playing a happy song, with all their hearts and souls, and Dot thought, "Now there. There's something that doesn't sound like it's been dug out of a tomb."
