Survivors (Live from San Francisco)

Lyrics
Intro Are you feeling San? Funny good? It is wonderfull see back Thanks so much for coming... I We originally arranged these concert, back in the mid-1700s And it's been postponed about 48 million times So thanks so much for remembering To come down I really appreciate it. Thanks I want to sing this first song for all of you guys I think everyone's done a bit of surviving For the last couple of years, this is called Survivors expir Verse Oh life, is just a game No one ever tells you how to play Different people go different ways Some of them will lеave you but Some of them will stay Wеll our hearts keep drumming Years keep coming quicker Than they've ever been You're sick of the same thing It's quicker than changing Too late to begin Pre-chorus Well everybody's running But you don't know why Time is running thin Everybody's bodies looking For somebody to love But we're scared to let him in Chorus And I shame. Oh, oh, oh Are there any survivors? Am I here alone? I say. Oh-oh-oh Are there any survivors? Am I here alone? Am I on my own? Verse Yes, in love See it comes and goes But no one ever tells you How to learn to let go Different people, they walk different road Some of them will hurt you But some of them won't Well the bridge is burning And the wheel keeps turning Quicker than it did before you heart Your heart screams "yes" Your head says "no" And you're never really sure Pre-chorus And see everybody's running But you don't know why Time is running short Everybody's looking for a place to hide So there's no one left at all Chorus And I say, oh-oh-oh. (Go on Sanfra) Are there any survivors? Am I here alone? (Don't be shy, sing it out) Yeah I say, oh-oh-oh Are there any survivors? Am I here alone? Am I here alone? Oh-oh-oh Am I here alone? Oh-oh, oh-oh. Yeah, Yeah Outro I say. Oh-oh-oh Are there any survivors? Am I here alone? (Go on, you know the words). I say. (Go on). Oh-oh-oh Are there any survivors? Am I here alone? (One more time, nice and loud). And I see. Oh-oh-oh Are there any survivors? Am I here alone? I see all. Oh-oh (nice). Are there any survivors? Am I alone? Am I on my own? That was absolutely beautiful Thank you so much for singing and sung It's a little bit much, me asking you guys To sing on the first fucking song I understand that. Should have done some Vocal warm ups or something with you guys first I apologize. Thank you. I am I haven't played many gigs over the last year Or two for obvious reasons in there And I played a little tour in the UK About six months ago and. And, and I was so nervous I hadn't played for over a year I was so, so nervous that I I set up a warm up show before the tour began And as it was approaching I started getting really fucking nervous For the warm up show So I set up a little warm up show For the warm up show. Yeah. Pathetic And made several grievous errors for this warm up For the warm up. First of all It was in my friend's pub and so there Were free drinks from about 2pm onwards That's the noise I made. Yeah. Which was odd And then I got steaming drunk. So I was very drunk I was very drunk when I went on stage The second big mistake that I made was I didn't write a set list I just kind of figured that the art would flow And I forgot all my fucking songs All 14 albums of them Couldn't remember a thing And third, and possibly the worst mistake That I made in my sort of panic And anxiety about the gig I forgot to invite anybody. Yeah So there were about 14 very confused Looking people in this pub until I played Let Her Go. And they were like Okay, got you... It's that guy What a fool from Grace. Yeah, yeha But I started with that song Survivors And I don't know what came over me I think the, the alcohol and the nerves You know, concoction of weirdness And halfway through the song I was like Everyone sing along And no one fucking did, obviously Because they weren't there for me and they hated me So this is a very long way of saying thank you For having my back Sanfran, and singing with me I really appreciate it And listen, if you know any of the words To any of the songs tonight Please feel free to sing as loud And as badly as you possibly can
