I think the part of the songwriting process that's the hardest, that feels like the most work is just the beginning. Is finding something to care about. 'Cause you could say, "I wanna write about this, I wanna write about that," and you could sit down and have no idea how to do it. It takes actually feeling those things. And so for me, I find that I make my best music when I've like completely given up hope on myself. When I've sat and I've written for four hours and come up with nothing and. I start being mad at myself and then suddenly like that anger creates a feeling or a mеmory or an experiencе and then I'm back in a real, like emotional core. And so I think the hardest part is the beginning. The hardest part is starting and, and believing that something is worth finishing.
