Track 2 is "Medicine" and originally, I thought this was going to be the album title. So, I was going around telling my entire time, like, "The album's called 'Medicine,' it's pink, I'm so excited," so, "Medicine" was the first song that I knew the album would be pink, and I wrote that with Jessie Jo Dillon, Connie Harrington and Jessie Alexander. And this was another thing where I just had the idea in my phone for a long time. I had the quote "How you like the taste of your own mеdicine?" I thought that it could be a fun honky tonk song and we wеre in the east Tennessee mountains and we executed it pretty well, if I do say so myself. The concept of the song, just kinda givin' a guy who doesn't treat you too well a taste of his own medicine, and hopefully this one's played in a lot of honky tonks across the world. My favorite part of "Medicine," also, by the way is the beginning and the end where we're like "Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm." That really does something for my brain, it scratches it just right.
