Track one, "Cloud 9". I wrote this song with ERNEST, Jessie Jo Dillon, and Luke Laird. And ERNEST and I actually started the song and the song goes way back. I actually had the idea in my phone like for at least like six months. Maybe longer. And I just had no idea how to make it cooler than just the saying "I'm on cloud 9". I thought that was too basic. So, you know, I just got to a point in my life where I was so happy that it just came to me one day randomly. I always say it's like a God thing, that like it's a long way down to cloud 9 and I just thought that concept was so cool, so. ERNEST and I wrote the chorus and then I called up Jessie Jo Dillon and Luke Laird to help me write the verses 'cause I knew Luke could capture the track really well and we could just make the lyrics very conversational. My favorite lyric of the song is "I blame you for no rocks in my shoes". It just makes me really happy and it's gonna be so much fun to perform on the Cloud 9 Tour.
