Lyrics
[CRISPARKLE] In saving sinners, there's a chance you'll sin sometime In saving criminals, one might commit a crime And to protect the harmless lambs within my fold I had to kill the wolf! Your culprit you behold! Since I was nearly grown, I've very clearly known That Satan walks among us with no fear he should atone! And when fair Rosa's mother died, the Devil tried to claim twas me Killed her in jealousy! So I became a priest to better hunt the beast And when I saw John Jasper's paw lash out, I knew at least That I'd located Satan! He was hateful and depraved! With Jasper dead, then Rosa, Ned, and Neville would ascend! But the night was far from bright Thick with wet and thunder Thatching fell, dispatched from Hell Satan is a wonder! Could not see the arms of me Stretched out with scarf in hand Saw your coat and tied your throat Just like a deadly wedding band! Some years ago, I think I killed another— Rosa's mother! Newlywed was she, thus dead to me, I tossed her out to sea With these new additions I have now revealed Murderous ambitions heretofore concealed May the Lord be praised! Though some might call me mad I have rid the earth of Satan, and I'm glad! I'm good, for good can come from bad!
