[Instrumental] [Plot] Finally, as the summer draws to a close The boy returns one last time to the spot Where he first saved the girl Having pushed himself to the breaking point Having spent the entire summer searching In vain for any trace of her, he has resolved That it is finally time for him to move on To give up his search once and for all And to return to the real world He sits on the hood of his car at sunset His gaze lingering on the horizon At first, it seems like his eyes are playing Tricks on him, but he thinks he can just Barely make out a figure approaching In the distance. But after a summer spent powerless Searching in vain for a way to rescue her grandfather She has run out of options.
