Lyrics
[Dialogue] Uh, hello? Hello? Uh, thanks everybody for coming today We're gonna get started A few, um, a few of you have come heard this guy before He obviously needs no introduction He comes all the way from, uh, England? Yeah, England And he's going to be talking to us today about his Egypt and Egyptology, uh, discoveries Over in Egypt And he'll be, uh, here, well, he's here now So without further ado, let's hear it for Dr... uh, Dr. Dumblucke? Dumblucke Thank you [Dialogue: Dr. Dumblucke] Mummification! Of course I've, I've had- of course we all know In-in my books, the first and second one, deal quite plain with it Of course you know, you look at me you're saying "Yes, this is a man who knows about mummification That's why we're here, that's why we're talking" Now my first experience in it is, as those of you might have read in your pamphlets, is When I'd come in, we were doing a bit We were doing a bit of fuel study at the temple at Karnak Karnak, lovely place I love that we're, the stars come together Of course the Egyptians would have that, the, the Goddess Nut Would kind of throw herself around Anyway We'd-we'd come in, and the sand- The sand was there and it just gets in everything It's a wonderful thing I like it between my toes, and you know, you just kind of feel it Just kind of almost a, a [?] thing, but a little bit different We were there And I- I had seen, there was a place Where you know, you can- you could move yourself through But at some place- Now, now my little dog Dog Punjii, who Who always always comes with me Comes with me, Punjii You might think Punjii but that's also your man who goes your garden, your serv- Well yes but I find that if I call them both by Punjii I really both need them to come at the same time So, so it's generally kind of a more Efficiency! Efficiency! And that's, that's what you learn in the Queen's Army Efficiency So I have my dog, I have I have my, my helper I say Punjii and they both come to me We were there! And, and Punjii - the dog now, this time What was out there? And in- in the sand, searching around And I saw him, he got a little bit of- of something in his teeth And he was- he was tugging with it And, and of course, you know, I- I don't generally as a rule Don't put things that I find in the sand in my mouth! And I like to- to implore those rules, that dignity, that civilization All the way to my dog! Because when, when you're out in the world You're an emissary! And- and it's not just you, it's your pets as well They're English pets! And though they're in the land of the savage It's an English, civilized, dog And I said "Punjii! Out of that!" And I looked, and I looked, and it was more It was- it was- it was an actual finger! There, there, out of the sand And it was moving Left to right, to left, to right And there was- there was a rhythm, there was a beat to it There was a beat And I saw, I saw it was a movement A rhythm, a pattern And there, there was my first primal experience With the Mummies!
