Song Meaning
This isn't your typical fairy tale. A terrible thing has happened: the wolf has escaped his story, deeply offended by all the insults. Little Red Riding Hood wanders the forest, questioning her existence without the wolf.
It seems the absence of the wolf has created a strange void. People are slowly getting used to life without fear. Grandma and the woodsman are playing cards, a picture of mundane peace.
The lyrics paint a surreal image of the wolf. He's sitting in a little house, his teeth resting in a glass. In the evening, he cooks up some 'strapačky' (a type of pasta) with sheep.
This subversion of the classic narrative is what makes the lyrics hit hard. By removing the antagonist, the story loses its core conflict, leaving characters adrift and the villain in an unexpectedly domestic, almost pathetic, state. The humor arises from this complete role reversal and the mundane details of the wolf's new, insult-free life.
