Lyrics
Where once stood a forest where nature's world had grown Came destruction of the peace, with it concrete roots now sown With stones providing their progress, seeds of sheer greed Advancement of technology complying with man's overrated need Where once stretched green land, where animals had freely been Stench of gasses now foul the air, their breath made unclean There seems no concern as industries fill the air full of shit Our rivers and seas becoming a nationwide cesspit Buildings of desolate nuclear plants, are they playing safe, or playing with time? So until that feared day, everything will be oh so fine Seems they have no time or use for environmental conservation The interest is in themselves, just leading to devastation Farms have been made into man's profit-making sellout Animals being murdered but you can't hear the screams and shouts In cages and boxes, unaware of the surrounding grass fields Just born, weighed, fattened up, then killed Product of another life, just like vegetables and crops Another little system, throwing out packages for the shops And wildlife across the land is being enjoyedly sought Destruction of another kind for man's leisurely sport The world is a showpiece of man's insanity As we fight a battle to preserve humanity They have no time for conservation Their interest in themselves leads to devastation
